Cookie Policy
One essential cookie, and nothing else. This page lists exactly what Billbana stores in your browser and why.
Last updated:
1. The short version
Billbana sets one cookie. It keeps you signed in. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies.
That is also why you will not see a cookie consent banner here. A banner exists so you can refuse the optional cookies — and Billbana does not set any.
3. Other browser storage
Two other mechanisms store data in your browser. Neither is a cookie and neither is used for tracking, but you should know they exist.
| What | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Offline cache (Cache Storage) | Billbana can be added to your home screen and installed like an app. Its service worker stores static files — the stylesheet, scripts, icons and the offline page — so it loads quickly and shows a proper message when you have no connection. It deliberately stores no page content, no invoice, no customer record and no PDF. |
| Sign-in state (managed by Firebase) | The Google Firebase Authentication library stores information in your browser during the sign-in process. This is part of how sign-in works and is not used to profile you. |
4. Managing this yourself
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser’s settings, and you can clear Billbana’s offline cache by clearing site data for this site. Doing so will sign you out.
Signing out of Billbana removes the session cookie. If you use a shared or public computer, sign out when you finish.
5. If this changes
If we ever introduce anything beyond strictly necessary storage, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. We will not quietly add tracking and leave this page saying otherwise.
